I agree with this approach but I'm not sure MVP is quite the correct phrase. If a college were to design a programme that front-ended skills to allow a student gain employment and followed that by an online or blended learning experience that would be a great improvement on the opportunities currently available. It would still be a good approach even if the college were slow to improve the product over time. (which is a necessary part of the MVP concept). I would suggest we need a different phrase to describe this approach. Is there one?

More college degrees will not necessarily set you free. In fact, they are increasingly irrelevant today, as many organizations no longer prioritize degrees. If you choose to pursue an advanced degree, your primary motivation should be personal growth rather than expecting a guaranteed pay raise.Additionally, the cost of attending school in 2024 has reached an all-time high. Students often resort to loans, which can significantly impact their financial situation.#financiallitteracy #student #degree #academia

Deciding to pursue an advanced degree should be driven by personal growth, career goals, and the specific requirements of your desired field. Consider the cost, potential debt, and if the degree will significantly advance your career. Reflect on whether your industry values experience or formal education more. It's crucial to research and understand the long-term benefits and implications of such a commitment.https://lnkd.in/dDw--t8f

Attracting more transfer students to your institution is a strategic approach to foster growth and diversify your student body. By actively welcoming transfer students, you tap into a unique pool of individuals who bring diverse experiences, perspectives, and talents. Transfer students often arrive with a clear sense of purpose and a greater appreciation for the value of education, making them highly motivated and engaged contributors to the learning community. And guess what...the transfer student population can serve as an additional revenue stream for your institution, aiding financial sustainability and supporting the development of innovative programs. But will they select your institution? How attractive is your campus, your programs, courses, offer flexible learning environments (online, hybrid, F2F) support functions for students, their employ-ability after graduation and at what cost? When students embark on the journey of finding a new school, they consider various critical factors to make an informed decision. Academics are paramount, and prospective students evaluate the range of majors, quality of faculty, learning options, and academic support services. Cost and financial aid options are also closely examined to ensure affordability. Additionally, students often weigh extracurricular opportunities, career services, and the institution's reputation. Is your institution adding new programs? Expanding online? Adding microcredentials? CBE?Take a look at yourself--what are you doing to make sure students want to come to your institution. You are a click away from the competition.#transferstudents #highereducation #enrollmentgrowthhttps://lnkd.in/gWk82Zpx

This statement emphasizes the importance of education by suggesting that the cost of remaining ignorant or uninformed about important topics in life can be much higher than the financial cost of obtaining an education. In essence, it highlights that the benefits of education, such as gaining knowledge, critical thinking skills, and the ability to make informed decisions, far outweigh the financial expenses associated with acquiring that education. Ignorance, on the other hand, can lead to missed opportunities, poor decision-making, and a lack of understanding in various aspects of life, which can have significant negative consequences.Credit Student AdMission #educationabroad #plan #live #educationconsultant #dailyquote
